Dr Judith Thomas University of Adelaide Dr Judith Thomas will present the findings from her recent doctoral study. She investigated the prior learning experiences and perspectives of nineteen South Sudanese refugee secondary students and two teachers. In open-ended interviews, they talked about learning in their homeland, compared to their mainstream schooling experiences in Adelaide.
