In this professional learning session, Barbara and Rebekah will share some of the key assessment practices in their new arrival setting. They will demonstrate how their core diagnostic and formative assessments help determine students’ English proficiency levels on the EAL Reporting Resource. Participants will engage in moderation of EAL student writing, discuss evidence of student achievement and consider possible next steps for learning.
