This session will focus on the VCE EAL Reading and Comparing Texts study. Marcellene will offer some strategies and ideas that can work for any pair of texts, however the session will especially focus on ‘The Longest Memory’ and ‘Black Diggers’, and ‘The Crucible’ and ‘Year of Wonders’. Specific worksheets will be provided.

Marcellene is an English, EAL and Humanities Teacher at Princes Hill Secondary College. She has been teaching for more than 31 years and leading English curriculum programs for 25 years. She is also an VCE English examiner.
