Online Event – Guest Speaker: Ester de Jong

At the AGM we will hear about VicTESOL’s achievements from the last year, share in awarding the 2020 VicTESOL Research Grant to the successful applicants and hear from the guest speaker, Ester de Jong, Director of the School of Teaching and Learning and Professor in ESOL/Bilingual Education, University of Florida.

Ester de Jong is the Director of the School of Teaching and Learning and Professor in ESOL/Bilingual Education at the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida.  Her research focuses on equity and integration in the context of dual language education and preparing teachers to work with bilingual learners in K-12 schools.
