In this session, Glynis, Michael and Jenna will provide feedback on student performance in the 2022 VCE EAL exam, including analysis of student performance in each section and examples of student responses. There will be opportunities for you to ask questions and gain valuable insight into how the exam is assessed. They will also suggest ways to prepare students for the 2023 exam.

Please note that the content of this session will be similar to that presented through VATE.

Glynis Rose was the chief assessor of the 2022 VCE EAL Examination.

Michael E Daniel has been an EAL assessor since 2004, and was an Assistant Chief Assessor of EAL in 2022. He is the Head of EAL at Camberwell Grammar School, and has taught Years 11 & 12 EAL since 2003.

Jenna Gomes 15 years teaching experience in the public sector, currently teaching at East Doncaster Secondary College. Taught both primary and secondary EAL. Assistant Chief Assessor in 2022 .
