Our upcoming event with Kellie Heintz from the VCAA will address many of the questions about the new VCE EAL study design asked in the recent VicTESOL survey of teachers.
This presentation will focus on the implementation of VCE units 1 and 2 EAL in 2023. New aspects of the study will be unpacked, with a particular focus on, the personal response to texts, the new area of study: crafting texts, the selection of mentor texts and suggested approaches to the teaching of writing. At the conclusion of the presentation, there will also be the opportunity for participants to ask questions.
